To buy a firearm in Illinois, you'll need a valid FOID card along with a state ID or driver’s license, and if you don’t have a FOID card yet, we can help you apply. Each purchase requires completing an ATF Form 4473, which initiates a background check by the Illinois State Police. A mandatory three-day waiting period applies to all firearm purchases, and once you're approved and the wait is over, your firearm will be ready for pickup. We accept credit, debit, and cash, and also offer a 30-day layaway option to give you flexibility at checkout.
