District 158’s Early Childhood Special Education Program is here to support young learners, ages 3–5, who may have developmental delays. Based at Lester Crawl Primary Center, the program partners closely with the State of Illinois' Early Intervention services and Easterseals to ensure a smooth transition into school for children under 3. Through preschool screenings held year-round, we help identify students who may benefit from special education services and provide the support they need to grow and thrive. If you have concerns about your child’s development, our team is here to help guide you through the next steps.
