Termites

Many people are surprised to learn that termites are a concern in Colorado. While our high altitude and dry climate may seem like natural deterrents, termites remain a significant problem, particularly in urban areas. The most common type found here is the Eastern Subterranean Termite, which forms colonies underground. These pests feed on wood, books, and other cellulose-based materials, often gaining access to homes through direct contact with wood or via hollow masonry. Don’t assume your property is safe; termite protection is just as important in Colorado as anywhere else.
