Our Beginner Kids Soft Shoe Class provides a welcoming introduction to the fundamentals of Irish dance. Focusing on soft shoe technique, students will learn four traditional dances: the Reel, Light Jig, Slip Jig, and Single Jig. Emphasis is placed on building a strong technical foundation while fostering confidence and coordination. Once dancers can confidently perform all four dances to music, they will be invited to advance to the Hard Shoe class, where they will experience the rhythmic energy and excitement of traditional Irish dance with taps.
