At Hospice of the Calumet Area, we are honored to recognize and care for our nation’s heroes through the We Honor Veterans program. This special service celebrates the lives and sacrifices of the men and women who served our country, offering personalized pinning and certificate ceremonies led by a veteran or HCA social worker as a heartfelt thank you. We are proud to meet the unique needs of veterans at the end of life and partner closely with the Hospice-Veteran Partnership to coordinate care with local VA facilities, including the Adam Benjamin Jr. VA Outpatient Clinic and Chicago-area Veterans Hospitals.
