New Mexico State University proudly supports military service members, veterans, and their families through its Military and Veterans Programs (MVP). As a military- and veteran-friendly institution, NMSU provides in-state tuition, credit for military training, and assistance with VA and DoD education benefits. Additional support includes priority registration, veteran housing, mentorship, access to SALUTE and the Student Veterans Organization, and dedicated campus resources. All programs are approved by the State Approving Agency, making eligible students qualified for VA and DoD benefits.
