ECHO’s Homelessness Prevention program offers emergency financial assistance to residents of Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla counties who are at risk of losing their housing due to economic hardship or crisis. The program aims to help individuals and families avoid eviction by covering past-due or upcoming rent payments, allowing them to remain stably housed. Eligibility is income-based, and while submitting a request does not guarantee assistance, ECHO responds to all inquiries within five business days. Due to high demand, funding may be limited and is updated monthly at www.echotlh.org/rent.
