ECHO’s Getting Ahead in the Workplace program is a structured, four-month initiative designed to help employed individuals facing instability build the tools and resources needed for long-term success. Through 15 facilitated sessions, participants explore how their home, work, and community environments impact stability, while learning practical skills in goal-setting, workplace culture, and resource development. Rooted in the research of Philip DeVol and Ruby Payne, the program promotes self-efficacy, reduces stress, and supports personal growth. Participants also receive access to coaching, necessities, and limited financial assistance to support their journey toward greater self-sufficiency.
