Public housing is one of the nation's key rental assistance programs, offering affordable homes to millions of low-income Americans. Here at the Tallahassee Housing Authority (THA), we proudly own and manage 544 public housing units where residents typically pay about 30% of their adjusted monthly income toward rent. In addition to safe and affordable housing, residents can access a variety of supportive programs, including education, job training, youth activities, and health and wellness services, all designed to help individuals grow, succeed, and eventually transition to the private rental market.
