Rural STEAM Program

Falcon AeroLab’s Rural STEAM Program delivers impactful STEM and aviation education to students ages 6–18 in rural Colorado. Integrating hands-on learning from its Young Falcons and Intro to Aerospace Studies (1A) programs, the initiative offers developmentally tailored workshops, expert instruction, and immersive field experiences. Students engage in age-appropriate exploration of topics ranging from basic science to advanced aerodynamics and robotics. With field trips to aerospace sites like the U.S. Air Force Academy and the Challenger Learning Center, and direct interaction with industry professionals, the program provides meaningful exposure to real-world STEM careers. Designed to expand access to quality STEM education, the Rural STEAM Program empowers rural youth with the curiosity, knowledge, and skills to thrive in the fields of science and aviation.
