The Children’s Literacy Center in Colorado Springs offers free, one-on-one tutoring for students reading below grade level. Kids are paired with trained volunteers using the Peak Reader® Program, with sessions held twice a week for 12 weeks (or 6 weeks in summer). Saturday sessions are also available in some areas. Please note, this program isn’t designed for students with an IEP, diagnosed dyslexia, special education needs, autism, or limited English fluency.
