The 18–21 Transition Academy is a program designed for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), ages 18 to 21. The academy focuses on increasing each student’s daily independence by equipping them with essential life skills, including communication, socialization, personal health, and vocational training. Through a combination of structured learning and real-world experiences within the community, the program empowers participants to build confidence and prepare for greater independence in adulthood.
