At Jenks Public Schools, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and visitors always come first. Every member of our team receives a detailed Emergency Procedures Guide so they’re prepared to respond quickly and effectively if needed. Our schools regularly practice fire drills, severe weather drills, and intruder drills to help students know what to do in an emergency.
To enhance our safety efforts, JPS has its own dedicated police department and an Incident Management Team (IMT) ready to step in whenever needed for prevention, preparation, and response. We also work with local law enforcement and emergency agencies to ensure we’re ready for any situation.
At JPS, we believe everyone plays a part in keeping our schools safe. That’s why we encourage students, staff, and parents to report anything that seems suspicious or concerning. Every report is taken seriously because your safety matters.
