Tallgrass’s oil operations include three federally regulated pipelines—Pony Express, Powder River Express, and Iron Horse—plus nine terminals with the ability to move around 700,000 barrels of crude oil per day and store over 8.3 million barrels. The Pony Express Pipeline, stretching about 900 miles from Wyoming and southeast Colorado to the Cushing, Oklahoma oil hub, also connects with three refineries. We’re also investing in sustainable energy solutions by testing solar power at facilities along the Pony Express. For example, solar panels at our Grasslands Terminal now meet 96% of that site's administrative energy needs, and we’re actively exploring more locations for solar and battery installations.
