Tallgrass operates an extensive natural gas network that includes over 7,000 miles of federally regulated pipelines and storage systems, connecting major supply areas to key markets across the U.S. through systems like Rockies Express (REX), Ruby, and others. We also manage more than 1,500 miles of gathering pipelines and processing facilities. REX stands out as the nation’s northernmost bi-directional pipeline and is the first interstate system to earn a third-party environmental certification from Project Canary, thanks to advanced methane monitoring at all its compressor stations. This forward-thinking approach not only boosts efficiency and reliability but also helps set new environmental standards for the industry.
