Campgrounds

Just a heads-up, Moon Lake Resort doesn’t manage or take reservations for the nearby campgrounds, but we’re always happy to offer hospitality, info, and support to all visitors in the area! The campgrounds are run by the Roosevelt/Duchesne Ranger District of the Ashley National Forest and are located on both sides of the resort. To the west, you’ll find a 54-site campground (32 reservable, 22 first-come, first-served), and to the east, a large-group area with two reservable sites. These sites offer toilets and cold-water access, but no showers, electrical hookups, or water taps. For details or reservations, just give the Ranger District a call at (435) 738-2482.
