The Nellis AFB Honor Guard is dedicated to conducting over 500 ceremonial duties annually across Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and California, spanning an area of 107,000 square miles. The primary role of the Honor Guard is to deliver military funeral honors for deceased veterans, retirees, and active-duty members of the Air Force and Army Air Corps. Additionally, the Honor Guard participates in Colors events, presenting at retirements, promotions, changes of command, and awards ceremonies. The team also supports community special events by presenting colors at various gatherings. Committed to excellence, the Nellis AFB Honor Guard continuously seeks professional and disciplined Airmen to join their ranks, offering specialized training every three months.
