Day Camp

Tom Sawyer Day Camp offers a dynamic summer experience for children in kindergarten through 4th grade, spanning 9 weeks with options for 1 or 2-week sessions. The camp day runs from 9:15 AM to 3:45 PM, featuring structured activities such as horseback riding, swimming, archery, and axe throwing, alongside imaginative play in 'wild uncharted wilderness areas.' Campers are grouped by grade and gender, fostering a strong sense of community and friendly rivalry. Each group, led by two dedicated counselors, chooses their daily activities, promoting teamwork and leadership. Safety is a priority with swim tests, regular evaluations, and a strict camper-to-counselor ratio during swim time. All aquatic staff hold American Red Cross certifications.
