Family Cancer Retreat

The Family Cancer Retreat, hosted by Cancer Services of New Mexico, is a comprehensive educational program designed to support adult cancer patients and their primary caregivers. This nationally recognized retreat, the largest of its kind in the U.S., offers a variety of sessions led by top cancer specialists in New Mexico. Topics covered include basic cancer information, communication strategies, legal and insurance guidance, integrative medicine, new treatment options, and caregiver support. The retreat also provides a unique opportunity for families to connect with others experiencing similar challenges, fostering a supportive community environment. Offered biannually, this three-day event is free of charge, including meals, lodging, and all activities, thanks to generous donations.
