West Alabama Mental Health Center offers a comprehensive range of mental health services across Marengo, Hale, Greene, Sumter, and Choctaw counties. Our services include Adult Outpatient Programs, providing therapeutic services and consultations; Residential Care at Springhill Home for adults with psychiatric disorders; a Rehabilitative Day Program aimed at long-term recovery and community integration; Emergency Services for crisis intervention available 24/7; and specialized programs for Children & Adolescents, including counseling and psychiatric assessments. Additionally, we address Substance Use with outpatient programs and prevention services, provide Intellectual Disabilities Services with person-centered activities, and offer Support Services like case management and supported employment. Our mission is to facilitate recovery, enhance self-worth, and integrate individuals into the community, ensuring a continuum of care for all residents within our catchment area.
